Bees swarm hot dog stand in Times Square
How many bees is too many bees? I am not 100 percent sure, but there sure were a lot of bees on this hot dog stand in Times Square.
Twitter was abuzz with bee chatter on Tuesday after an enormous number of bees overtook a Sabrett's umbrella on 43rd Street in Manhattan. According to an expert cited by Gothamist, the bees were probably "expats from a nearby beehive" who decided to park close to home and wait for their queen. Very feminist!

(In fact, the NYPD has long retained a bee cop.)
Several outlets, including Reuters and Yahoo, ran live broadcasts of the bees. Those broadcasts have since concluded, but you can still watch them if you really want to. A better idea, though, would be reading everyone's bee tweets, which -- since we are all starved for joy every second of every day -- are a real treat.
