The teams traded games in the first best-of-seven set and then FlipSid3 went all-out, shutting down Mockit for the next four games to take the first set 5-1. Both teams were looking great but FlipSid3 had better touches on the ball and a more aggressive and effective offense.

With everything on the line in the second set, FlipSid3 Tactics and Mockit Aces came out with extremely tight defenses, sending the first game into an RLCS record-breaking overtime lasting more than 7 minutes. Mockit's ViolendtPanda managed to close out the first win of the set.

FlipSid3 responded with three strong wins, outplaying Mockit with spot-on passing plays and lots of pressure. On match point for FlipSid3, the game went into overtime, appropriately finished with an amazing play from Kuxir.
